Birthday celebration was held on 2nd January 2010, after the new year! Haha.. I was surprised that Mr Lim's birthday also falls on 16th January, which is the same as Zifang's birthday. 生日快樂!

After Barry's class on the topic, 文禮的內涵, we had a small celebration. Because zq was not around, when Mr Lim asked why we don't know 黃梅調 version, we all said we don't know how to sing mah.. LOL!

Location: Uncle Lee's hse

A group including baoling, baoli, xinyi, zifang, shar, uncle lee, baozhu-jie went to take a walk from Bukit panjang to Cashew heights. After the walk, they went to ten mile junction's sheng xiong mart to buy groceries for the dinner. Dinner started very late, around 9:30pm as the preparation was very long.

I joined them late because I was working on new year eve, after that went to tm's house for dinner first, before joining them for countdown. I reached uncle's lee house early (9:15pm) to help them in dinner preparation.

After a while, cindy, barry and zq joined us..

Food was delicious! Got Satay, pizza, sushi, spicy veggie soup, zhu chang fen, french fries with wasabi powder, vegetables and etc. Take a look, take a look:

We saw fireworks at Malaysia! Although it's very far, we still can catch a glimpse of the beautiful and expensive brillant scenes.

Have you ever went to a Karaoke called Ten Dollar Club before? Well.. It's my first time visiting the KTV, which is located at smith street. I went there on 30th Dec '09 with zz, xq, xh, alan, zq, ly and tm as it's a long long time since I went to sing!

The location was quite easy to find, if you know where is the existing location of Grand court restaurant. I need to tell all of you the best part, before you can decide whether you think it's worth it or not.

1. The drinks are free-flow! Wee..Wuuhuu.. Of cos there are limited choices, but the choices are acceptable, like lemon honey, ice/hot lemon tea, chinese tea, coke, sprite and etc.

2. You are allowed to bring outside food to the KTV rooms to eat! I never heard of a KTV providing this kind of privilege to customers, it's like an extra bonus. The only rule that you need to stick is to throw the containers or rubbish away by yourself which is an acceptable rule as well. :)

3. They gave everyone a bowl of shark's fin soup absolutely for FREE, where got such a nice KTV box one? But of cos we can't eat, cos we are vegetarians! Maybe we could suggest them to cook some food that are suitable for vegetarians too, so that everyone can enjoy though. Haha..however, this is one of their way to compliment their customers, good service.

4. The ambience was romantic. They decorated the room with x'mas festive items and there are balloons on top on the ceilings.

5. There is also a pool table in the main hall. But of cos you need to toss 2 dollar coin inside to play 1 round la..lol.

6. Sound system is okay, there is nothing to be picky of.

7. You can sing from 7pm to 12pm, 5 hours of entertainment, and just need to pay less than S$12 bucks. You think worth it?

The KTV was located at level 3, and there are not plenty of rooms over there. Thus, if you really wish to go, you need to book with them first. They might tell you that you need to have a minimum of around 8pax to enjoy the special price offer.

On flipside, I have a hard time using the remote control to select songs, as it was a bit complicated. However, if you don't mind learning for a while, it's still ok, only just that you have to scroll the pages for quite sometime before finding your desire song.

Most importantly, the songs were not as up-to-date as K-Box or partyworld, but if you are not so fussy, this is not a problem. At least songs released 3 months ago still can be found inside. :P

Once again, congratulations to Adelene and Zhen nan's wedding! May this couple be blissful forever and 早生貴子！

Well.. I was invited to visit their new home at Paris Ris on 26th Dec 09. Although I don't have a real hard time to locate their house, but I think the location of their flat was quite remoted. 哈哈。。Their hdb flat was a 5-room flat, price was around $400k. The living room was very spacious, however the rooms have limited spaces.

You could find that walls, doors, concrete floors, shoe cabinets and kitchen cabinets and even refridgerators were WHITE-in-color! OMG~ I think Adelene loves purity theme. The basic furnitures were already purchased and displayed in the house, but they haven't got dining table and study/computers tables yet.

After looking at their wedding montage, we have a small potluck session.. I also brought a few snacks bought from Taiwan trip to share with them. Haha, I really enjoyed the chat with them about wedding ah.. bidding of BTO flats ah, exercises, how to slim down, and about iPhones.. LOL..very interesting! :)

Helloooo everybody! Belated greetings to all my blog readers! Happy NEW year and may everyone on earth be happy and have a smooth sailing year ahead. Jiayou! ^_*

There are some announcements that I would like to make:

1. Teck whye's 田中 would be closed down for renovation for 2 weeks starting on 4th Jan 2010. So, if you want to go there and order 皮蛋粥 or 素鸡饭, please forget about the thoughts. Kindly wait patiently for 2 more weeks.

2. Jurong East Blk 221's 吉祥素食 may open until the end of this month, due to the increment of the rental fee. However, they are still negotiating, and haven't come to a conclusion yet. Hopefully, they have a peaceful outcome, or else they would shift to hougang. Sob!

3. Good news, there are 2 vegetarian stalls opening at Tradehub 21, 18 Boon Lay way. Basically, Tradehub building is located near Chevrons at Jurong East. I reckon they only sell food during lunch hours.

One of the vegetarian stall is selling mixed vegetables and is situated inside a coffee shop called 好食坊。They opened for around 2-3 months already. 3 dishes are sold at $2.80 (standard price). Their 春卷 and hash browns are tasty.

The second vegetarian stall which just opened 2 weeks ago, is located at the seafood coffee shop behind the sakae sushi restaurant. I like their varieties of food, cos they are very special and I seldom have the chance to eat some of the food.

Olive fried rice + Redang mutton.. only cost $2.80.

4. Recently, a vegetarian stall called Zi Zai Vegetarian was opened at Woodlands, Blk 306 st 31 #01-17 and also at Tampines, Blk 801 Ave 4, #01-281. Zi zai vegetarian was located at Aljunied previously, but was relocated to woodlands after the circuit rd hawker centre was closed down for renovation.

Heard from Mr Lim that they sold alot of varieties of food and their roti prata was a thumb-up! Haha.. I want to go there soon! :)

Had a really sumptuous dinner last wednesday, cooked by Huang tai tai and Huang xian sheng! :) Thanks for the treat & invitation! I'm really grateful for the meal. Should say that, I'm lucky that 我沾了他们的光。哈哈 ^_^

We organised a botanical garden trip on 22nd nov for a small gathering and explored the most beautiful garden in Singapore. It was a very enjoyable day! I also wished to send my deepest gratitude to my beloved god, because these few months were raining season, but the wind god helped us to blow the dark clouds away! :) Early in the morning, I attended a religious class until 1pm, after that I rushed to CCK first before taking taxi with aunty yashui, tm, cindy to botanic garden.

I'm really worried of the weather on that day, so I kept monitoring the transformation of the clouds.. :P

It's my first time being the ban wu for an outing trip, and thus was very busy answering calls from those who do not know how to reach our meeting point (outide national orchid garden). The photos taken below was the location of our meeting point!

Upon reaching, Mr Lim found a good shady spot, and we unfolded the mats, unloaded our bags and started taking photos first! Haha! After that, we carried out some simple work-outs leaded by Zifang (our activity in-charge person). It was such a long time since I stretched myself out. My muscles were very relax after the entire exercises.

Once, we finished the work-out, we stayed in a group and explored around the garden to admire the beautiful plants and flowers, swans, bandstand, fishes, architechture, trees and etc..

Along the way, we could find alot of saunters strolling and leading a domestic dog. Omg.. the puppies and doggies were so cute and fun-loving! I wished to take a picture with them wor. :)

Oh gosh.. we were so fortunate that we could get to take photos of orchids even without going into the National Orchid garden, which costed $5 per head.

Hee.. White swan.. I loved the photo on the left (photoshop abit)! Always saw the swans in pairs and they were inseparable, or else the other partner would die shortly.. So SWEET! :P

I simply loved the veg. curry mutton! Suzhen aunty was a very versatile housewife and had a very formidable culinary skill. Thanks to all of the other cooks as well! And also, some of the food were the buffet left-over during the religious class held early in the morning.

Haha.. this was a candid photo, taken without their notice. But amazingly, Jiayi was the only person who was highly sensitive to camera, and she posed even before I got to snap the camera. I admited defeat! Wahaha!

Annyeong-ha-sei-yo! I don't know if you all remembered the post on the video clip that I uploaded in March this year... If you can't remember, I would recap. It's a post on the performance of TM the guitarist and me the 'fantastic' singer of the song called '最近'!

I was singing 彩虹, and my pitch went way out..我在唱的时候，忍着笑，忍了很久，因为自己唱给自己听，真的很难，会笑场的！我憋了很久，终于唱完了! LOL.. I couldn't believe that I'm so lousy! Haha.. Enjoy, but don't laugh too loud! keke!
